I always wanted to be a painter, then one day I decided I was. I believe every artist has a story to tell, for those who listen, wisdom and new perspective can be found.
2012 Was the Year I feel like I really became the Artist I always wanted to be. After years of exploring jewelry making, silversmithing, lampwork glass, pottery, computer graphic design (Photoshop and Illustrator), metal cutting, sewing and many more mediums, I really feel like I found my niche as a painter (for the time being anyway).
I have come to the conclusion that I really can not define myself as “just a painter ” , or any other thing I do, and see myself as more of a Creator, forever learning and evolving in what I do and how I view the world.
Much of my world is done in satire, so please be warned, My art is not SHOCK ART, It is thought provoking. If you have any questions about a piece, please contact me, I would be more than happy to explain my views. [Comments are on, but moderated, so there is an easy enough place to discuss — BG]
